GastroElm Plus Helps Weaving Mare

Weaving in horses is generally a habit of moving back and forth on it’s forelegs causing it to sway and moving their head back and forth.  In some cases it’s caused by a lack of exercise, foraging or socialization, but in other cases it may be a sign of discomfort.  We received the following note from Mary regarding a mare named, Scarlett who she said was always a nervous mare and a weaver.

I want to thank you for this amazing product! I have been using on my nervous mare who has ulcers and is a weaver. I have to say after just a week, she has almost quit doing it completely! She is much more calm and happy. My yearling was colicky a couple weeks ago, so I gave this to him as well and it helped a lot. I will continue to keep my horses on it.

A Dog with Diabetes & Pancreatitis Regains His Appetite!

Wow! I don’t know why I waited so long to try this on my pancreatic corgi! Loki just turned 11 on August 6, 2019. He was diagnosed with Diabetes and Pancreatitis on December 26, 2017. It was rough in the beginning, but things smoothed over a little after getting him on some prescribed Rx diet. But he was never really into it after all this time. And recently it had gotten much worse. Getting him to eat was like pulling teeth.

A few times since his diagnosis, he had rough days where I thought for sure he was having another flare-up of Pancreatitis (vomiting, even just water… extreme inappetence). This latest episode on Wednesday, August 7, 2019, I thought for sure it was the end. He threw up first thing in the morning, before he had even eaten. Just a bunch of water/foam. He refused to eat, just chugged a bunch of water and then threw up again. I found him laying in the bathroom just laying there in a puddle of his own water-vomit. We had already decided if it was another flare-up… we would just make the decision to let him go, because he was just miserable! He never wanted to eat, he would just lay in the bathroom all day looking sad, every day. Well on this day, the vet ran his bloodwork and his pancreas values came back perfect. Say what?? But she decided he was in extreme pain for arthritis or a spine/disc issue. She gave Loki an injection of Cerenia, and a new medicine to begin injecting to help him with his joint pains. He felt better that evening, and gave less of a fight to eat… but the next morning, he didn’t want to eat again. I was at my wit’s end. He can’t live eating a few bites here and there.

I took to a Pancreatic Dog support group on FB and someone suggested GastroElm Plus.  (I had seen it mentioned before, but when I saw it those times before, I wasn’t having so many issues with him not wanting to eat). So I ordered it, and it promptly arrive on Saturday morning (Aug 10). It missed his breakfast time by just a few minutes, and he had put up a fight about eating that morning. I gave him a dose of GastroElm just to help soothe his tummy. About 30 minutes later, he was sticking his face in his bowl like “Hey! Lady! I could eat!”. So I gave him a little additional food that he had ignored earlier, and he gobbled it right up!

Then, Saturday evening, it came time for their dinner. About 20 minutes before I set his bowl down, I gave him another squirt of the GastroElm gel that was made earlier in the day. Then when I was standing at the counter prepping his dinner, he shows up and is standing there staring at me like “Uhm… when’s dinner??”. Which was HIGHLY unusual for him. Typically I have to BEG him to come out of the bathroom and eat his dinner. It had become an every day thing… kneeling on the kitchen floor and trying to coax him to eat so he could have his insulin. WELL! Not on this night! I finished prepping his bowl and set it down in his stand, he stuck his face right in there and gobbled it up without hesitation…. licked it clean and trotted off to roll around on his back in the living room. This was a sight I hadn’t seen in so long. I cried a little. I have continued to give it to him the last couple of days, and every day he’s a little more excited about eating, and seems more happy and satisfied. Thank you so much for this wonderful product! I can’t say enough good things.

GastroElm Plus Helps Improve Mare’s Demeanor

I have a mare that has gone back into regular training after several months off. She has been a bit grumpy when tacking up. We have checked everything and have come to the conclusion that it’s a mare thing. I came across GastroElm from a recommendation on a fb page (can’t remember which one) and figured, why not?

After a month of being on GastroElm Plus, the mare seemed less cranky, but we didn’t know if it was because the training was helping or the GEP…..so, we decided to STOP the GEP to see if she reverted back to full on crankiness…sure enough, she did!!! We put her BACK on GastroElm Plus, and the crankiness subsided yet again.

This was great news as GastroElm Plus is inexpensive and easy to feed (I own and operate a small boarding facility, so simplicity is key!) My mare gobbles it up when mixed into some sticky feed. hoping to see continuous improvements in my mare as we keep feeding her this product!

Thanks GastroElm!

Barrel Horse In Training Has Big Attitude Change on GastoElm Plus

I started using GastroElm Plus about two-and-a-half to three months ago. My young horse was pissy, would ring his tail when riding and even offer a buck if I got my heels into his sides. I was wondering what the heck I had bought to make a barrel horse. But then, I saw GastroElm on Facebook.

I was about to go to the omeprazole but that was so expensive at $35 a tube and for extreme results you have to give it for 30 days. That is way over my budget. So, I tried GastroElm Plus instead.  Within the first week I noticed a difference. He was riding more quiet & committal was not switching as bad and he didn’t get all huffy puffy when I asked him to try something different in our training process.

Everyone who knows this horse from before I bought him cannot believe the horse he has turned out to be. I owe it all to Gastroelm.  He has become my friend and gives his heart at everything he does now instead of worrying over how much he hurts. No, I did not have him scoped for ulcers but I definitely believe that was his problem. I have never seen a horse turn around so fast in attitude and performance.

Thank you!

GastroElm Plus Helps Young Dog with IBD

I just wanted to let you know how thrilled I am with your Gastro Elm Plus. I have a 3 year old American Eskimo Dog who was diagnosed with IBD at 6 months old. Although we have a great team of our GP Vet, and IM Specialist Vet, and a Holistic Vet, he has continued to battle flare ups lasting 2-3 days at least once a month. When he has a flare up he will have diarrhea, vomiting or both and will not eat at all. Even between flare ups, I have had to feed him every meal by hand to get him to eat.

I read about your product on a Facebook group for dogs with IBD and when he had a recent flare up I decided to give it a try. Not only did it immediately end the flare up, but he is now eating on his own for the first time in two and a half years. He is actually anxious to eat a meal which has not happened since he first began having symptoms at 3 months old. Since the IBD surfaced I have struggled to even keep him at the very bottom of acceptable weight for his size. Since starting Gastro Elms Plus he has gained 2.5 lbs and almost achieved the ideal weight for his size.

I just can not tell you how happy I am to have finally found something that is working. Believe me, we’ve tried it all. Your product combined with his home made diet and the Chinese herbal capsules prescribed by our Holistic Vet are finally giving him a normal life. Thank you so much for giving Quinn a happy pain free life.

Rescue Horse Puts Weight Back On

This is a great example of a horse putting weight back on after using GastroElm Plus.  Once they start feeling better and eating normally, everything else falls into place.  We received this message from Michele about two months after she started using GastroElm Plus.

This is Q. I rescued her about 8 months ago. She was 18 years old and had severe ulcers. She wouldn’t eat anything that I purchased.   When I found GastroElm Plus, I started her on it morning and night. For the first 2 weeks I mixed the product with aloe juice and syringed it into her to make sure it coated her well then I started just adding the dry powder to her feedings. Within 3 days of giving this product, Q started eating all her hay and grain. As you can tell she is gaining weight great. I was skeptical when ordering it but this product is absolutely worth it’s weight in gold. I am keeping Q on it from now on. Thank you for this product!

Michele

PS.  Here is Q after using GastroElm Plus.

Dog Recovering From Pancreatitis & IBD

My 16 year old dog, Casey, came down with Pancreatitis and IBD and my Vet suggested giving her several different medicines. I am not a fan of giving a dog medicine due to all of the side effects and all medicines are eliminated through the kidney’s. I joined a FB Pancreatitis group and everyone was talking about GastroElm Plus. Casey was lethargic, loss of appetite, nauseas, painful belly, depressed and she didn’t want to eat. She was so sick that I considered putting her to sleep to end her suffering. I watched a You tube video about Gastro Elm and after being sick for almost three weeks I decided to try Gastro Elm.

20 minutes after my sick dog received Gastro elm her appetite came back, it was a miracle! I gave my dog Gastro elm three to four times a day (one hour before every meal). By the second day of being on Gastro elm my sick dog came roaring back to life. Her energy returned, her nauseas abated, her appetite came back and I no longer heard any gurgling acidic noises in her stomach. Gastro Elm saved my dogs life. I now give her 1/2 teaspoon in the AM and 1/2 teaspoon before bed (with a snack). No more 5 AM bile throw ups and my dog now wakes up happy, wagging her tail and rolling on my bed. Gastro elm is by far the best holistic product I’ve found and I will always keep my dog on it for the rest of her life.

Thank you!

Francesca

Elena Got Her Horse Back with GastroElm Plus

Our horse stories all start differently. However, the same for all of us, is a quest to keep our horses happy, healthy and comfortable. Cochise’ and my love story, started eight years ago when I impulse bought an eleven month old paint colt that I fell in love with at first sight. Getting him that young offered challenges and great opportunities. I got to really know him, especially since he lives at home with me. My relationship with him is most unique due to the ability to get him as a baby, assist with his gelding, train him in everything from cross ties to, hand walking down the road, bits and bridling, games, to riding in the woods, to trailering, self loading, hunter paces, dressage training, and the list goes on. He has an amazing work ethic. He WANTS to work. He WANTS the attention. He WANTS time with me. We have a connection, communication, understanding, and regard that I cherish. That said, he’s a thinker. He’s a beautiful concoction of boldness, brass, sweetness, affection, cunning, compassion, gentility, bullishness, insolence, bravery and grace, all rolled up into one amazing being.

Sigh. I had some big changes in my life over the past three years which resulted in some big changes in his: boarding for the first time; me not living WITH him; then moving to a new farm with me, and then enduring the wettest, buggiest and hottest of summers ever — in this new setting. This was a totally new area for us. I had no idea what was coming or how to prepare for it.

Last summer, his disposition suddenly and dramatically changed. It was very alarming. I was so upset for him. It was a miserable summer. It rained every week. Can we say MUD? The heat, rain, humidity and bugs were worse than anything we had ever experienced before. He was suddenly cranky with furled eyebrows, and pursed lips. He was almost mean. He started cribbing.

I deduced that he probably started developing some stress over a gradual amount of time with all of these changes and reached a threshold where something started to really bother and or hurt him. Thinking of tummy issues first, I started researching gut-related reasons for sudden temperament changes and products therefor. My friend Rita told me about GastroElm Plus. I tried it and wow was I impressed, surprised and thrilled! It was a missing piece of a puzzle. I got my horse back! I prepare it five minutes before giving it and he gobbles it up! If you board, you can make up to a week’s worth and refrigerate it to either give yourself or ask your facility to include in your horse’s meals. It’s cost effective. Cochise is comfortable and once again back to himself as only I know him to be. I strongly endorse this product and thank the wonderful folks GastroElm Plus! Cochise will never be without it!

Thank you GasroElm Plus for giving me my horse back!

GastoElm Plus Helps Therapy Horses With Ulcers

A few months ago I was considering how I was, once again, going to have to purchase expensive ulcer medicine for my two thoroughbreds. While I was considering how much it would be, a GastroElm Plus ad popped up on my Facebook page. I scanned the comments and figured it was worth a shot (afterall it was much more cost effective). I had no idea I was getting a product that within 24 hours I would begin to see subtle changes in my horses and within 3 days they were completely back to normal. I was shocked.

At about the same time I was seeing these changes in my horses at home, we had one of our therapeutic riding horses get diagnosed with ulcers. As a small non profit ulcer treatment is quite costly for our program, I immediately ordered GastroElm Plus for our girl. After a month on it our vet came out yesterday to check her and she had no signs of ulcers. At this point we’re putting several of our program horses on this product because it clearly makes them more comfortable and gets rid of ulcers. However, it’s not just for ulcers, it has another added bonus, our program recently brought in a horse that had been severely malnourished, when I asked the vet what we could give him to get the most weight on the quickest, she immediately responded with “give him that Slippery Elm stuff to aid with digestive absorption”. Our program is so grateful to have come across this product, I’ve never used something that so dramatically makes a change in the treatment of ulcers.

Thank you so much! I hope you have a great week.
