Elena Got Her Horse Back with GastroElm Plus

Our horse stories all start differently. However, the same for all of us, is a quest to keep our horses happy, healthy and comfortable. Cochise’ and my love story, started eight years ago when I impulse bought an eleven month old paint colt that I fell in love with at first sight. Getting him that young offered challenges and great opportunities. I got to really know him, especially since he lives at home with me. My relationship with him is most unique due to the ability to get him as a baby, assist with his gelding, train him in everything from cross ties to, hand walking down the road, bits and bridling, games, to riding in the woods, to trailering, self loading, hunter paces, dressage training, and the list goes on. He has an amazing work ethic. He WANTS to work. He WANTS the attention. He WANTS time with me. We have a connection, communication, understanding, and regard that I cherish. That said, he’s a thinker. He’s a beautiful concoction of boldness, brass, sweetness, affection, cunning, compassion, gentility, bullishness, insolence, bravery and grace, all rolled up into one amazing being.

Sigh. I had some big changes in my life over the past three years which resulted in some big changes in his: boarding for the first time; me not living WITH him; then moving to a new farm with me, and then enduring the wettest, buggiest and hottest of summers ever — in this new setting. This was a totally new area for us. I had no idea what was coming or how to prepare for it.

Last summer, his disposition suddenly and dramatically changed. It was very alarming. I was so upset for him. It was a miserable summer. It rained every week. Can we say MUD? The heat, rain, humidity and bugs were worse than anything we had ever experienced before. He was suddenly cranky with furled eyebrows, and pursed lips. He was almost mean. He started cribbing.

I deduced that he probably started developing some stress over a gradual amount of time with all of these changes and reached a threshold where something started to really bother and or hurt him. Thinking of tummy issues first, I started researching gut-related reasons for sudden temperament changes and products therefor. My friend Rita told me about GastroElm Plus. I tried it and wow was I impressed, surprised and thrilled! It was a missing piece of a puzzle. I got my horse back! I prepare it five minutes before giving it and he gobbles it up! If you board, you can make up to a week’s worth and refrigerate it to either give yourself or ask your facility to include in your horse’s meals. It’s cost effective. Cochise is comfortable and once again back to himself as only I know him to be. I strongly endorse this product and thank the wonderful folks GastroElm Plus! Cochise will never be without it!

Thank you GasroElm Plus for giving me my horse back!

GastoElm Plus Helps Therapy Horses With Ulcers

A few months ago I was considering how I was, once again, going to have to purchase expensive ulcer medicine for my two thoroughbreds. While I was considering how much it would be, a GastroElm Plus ad popped up on my Facebook page. I scanned the comments and figured it was worth a shot (afterall it was much more cost effective). I had no idea I was getting a product that within 24 hours I would begin to see subtle changes in my horses and within 3 days they were completely back to normal. I was shocked.

At about the same time I was seeing these changes in my horses at home, we had one of our therapeutic riding horses get diagnosed with ulcers. As a small non profit ulcer treatment is quite costly for our program, I immediately ordered GastroElm Plus for our girl. After a month on it our vet came out yesterday to check her and she had no signs of ulcers. At this point we’re putting several of our program horses on this product because it clearly makes them more comfortable and gets rid of ulcers. However, it’s not just for ulcers, it has another added bonus, our program recently brought in a horse that had been severely malnourished, when I asked the vet what we could give him to get the most weight on the quickest, she immediately responded with “give him that Slippery Elm stuff to aid with digestive absorption”. Our program is so grateful to have come across this product, I’ve never used something that so dramatically makes a change in the treatment of ulcers.

Thank you so much! I hope you have a great week.

Barrel Horse With Ulcers

Thank goodness I found GastroElm Plus. I was at my wits end with my granddaughter’s barrel horse, Waylon. A beautiful gelding but with the ulcers and stomach concerns it was alarming to us that he would be fine one day and terrible the next. We made countless attempts trying different things but I prefer to try and stay as natural as possible. When I discovered GastroElm Plus, I was hopeful we found a solution.

We noticed a change within a day of starting him on it. The first two days, much to our surprise he ate and finished his bucket of feed. This alone was such an accomplishment considering prior to using the Gastro Elm Plus we were at the point of hand feeding him and forcing him to finish. Within a two week time frame he was back to his spunky self and working good again. His shiny coat has been an added bonus!

I’ve recently started my other gelding who is slightly older on it and couldn’t be happier with the results.

GastroElm Plus for Cats

Labor Day weekend in 2013 our neighbor’s eight year old cat was diagnosed with liver failure and the vet didn’t have any idea what had caused it.  After a few days on GastroElm Plus it made a full recovery and roams the neighborhood to this day without any recurring issues.

Since then we have helped numerous cats who have gone through the same scenario.  In most cases, no underlying cause is ever uncovered.  We recently received the following testimonial from a customer who went through the same ordeal.

——–

In mid-March, my husband and I returned from a vacation to find one of our cats, Edison, very sick. He is 6 years old and prior to us leaving on a 1 week vacation, he was the picture of feline health. However, when we returned from vacation he was skin and bones, didn’t appear to be eating, and when we did finally get him to eat, he immediately threw it all up. He was extremely weak and lethargic, and his sweet personality seemed to be gone.

We got him to the vet, where they found his liver was failing and his red blood cell count was extremely low. They really didn’t have an answer and after he spent 3 nights at the vet’s office, they sent him home with antibiotics, steroids and the instructions to try any food we could to get him to eat.

On the day we brought him home, my husband was searching the internet for answers, and he came upon a testimonial video where someone had a cat with very similar symptoms. After being sent home from the vet essentially to die, he started using GastroElm Plus and the cat improved in a matter of days.

We figured it couldn’t hurt to try…and when my husband ordered it he wrote a note asking about expedited shipping. The next morning, you called him and spent an extremely generous amount of time with him discussing Edison’s condition and providing us some things we could do for him while we waited for the GastroElm Plus to arrive.

The GastroElm Plus came very quickly and we started him on 3 doses a day per your instructions. After about 3 days, we started to see a little sparkle in his eyes again. He came out from the blanket he had been sleeping under all day and was a little more social. He started eating on his own. For the rest of the week he slowly progressed. After about 10 days we weighed him, and he had put on over a half a pound (he’s a tiny cat so that much weight was great!). He started jumping and climbing again and playing with his canine and feline brothers.

We finally took him today for a follow up visit to the vet. (Over the course of this experience we actually changed vets.) At our new vet today, he was given a perfectly clean bill of health. His blood work was all perfect, he was back to his original weight and our new vet basically said the GastroElm saved him. She believes the original vet’s diagnosis of autoimmune hemolytic anemia was wrong.

Edison is only 6 years old and we weren’t ready to lose him. We are 100% certain he is still with us today because of your product. I can’t thank you enough for the special time you took with my husband and the care you showed for our pet over the phone. It’s obvious you are doing this to help people – and we wanted you to know you truly helped our little family.

With much gratitude,
Dave & Gina

p.s. On a side note, our mixed breed dog has a very sensitive stomach and diarrhea more often than we would like. At the first sign of loose stools we give him some GastroElm and the problem disappears. This is also a great relief!

Shiloh and Faye

Shiloh finished his C-WAGS Scent Detective Level 2 Title last night!

I’ve been giving him GastroElm Plus since he was diagnosed with pancreatitis on March 20th and was hospitalized for three days and given a grim prognosis. I went that night at visiting hours and laid hands on him and prayed for his healing. The specialist said he was the sickest patient in the hospital. He made a miraculous turnaround overnight and fully recovered. I’ve continued the GastroElm and kept him on a low-fat diet that I cook for him.

I sent his records to a holistic vet, who thought he had Addison’s disease. He wanted an adrenal function test on both Shiloh, and my treeing Walker coonhound, Faye, who had an enlarged left adrenal gland that the holistic doctor suspected was cancerous. She was diagnosed on March 27th. I started giving her GastroElm too.

Both dogs had nodules in their spleens, and Shiloh had several more in his other organs.

This morning, I received a call from my regular vet who said both of their adrenal functions were normal!!! I am over the moon!

I had also laid hands on Faye and prayed for her healing a couple of weeks ago.

Thank you for making such a wonderful product and for keeping the price reasonable. I also give it to my collie, Provi. He had a bout of gastroenteritis at the beginning of this month that I had to take him to the ER for. He had bloody diarrhea and vomited bile several times. He has been doing well since starting the GastroElm.  I think GastroElm has many more healing properties than what’s been reported!!!

Thanks again for making such a great product. So many companies are just interested in gouging the consumer and producing inferior products. GastroElm does what it claims and more. I like the personal response from you too! It is refreshing to meet people with a mission to save animals!
